Who we are

Norte is a neighborhood Mexican steakhouse opening at 39 W 19th Street, New York, NY 10011. This policy covers what happens on www.nortenyc.com and nothing else. It does not cover our Instagram account, or any other platform where you might come across us.

What this site collects from you

Nothing you type. There are no accounts on this site, no contact form, no newsletter signup and no payments. Norte sets no cookies here, and runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no session recording.

What the server records

Like every website, this one is delivered by a hosting provider that keeps standard access logs: the IP address of the device asking for a page, the browser and operating system that device reports, the page requested and the time of the request.

Those logs exist to keep the site running and to spot abuse. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not sell them.

The one third party

The Careers page loads a jobs widget from Culinary Agents. Loading that widget sends your IP address and browser information to Culinary Agents, and it may set its own cookies in your browser. If you apply to an opening through it, your application and anything you attach go to Culinary Agents and to us as the employer, under their privacy policy.

Everything else on this site is served from our own server: the typefaces, the photographs and the video all load from nortenyc.com, not from a font network or a media host. Links to Instagram open a site we do not control.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information a business holds about you, to get a copy of it, to ask that it be corrected or deleted, or to opt out of its sale. Norte does not sell personal information.

If you want to make a request about the access logs described above, write to us at the address below and we will pass it to our hosting provider.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
